In 2013, Gary co-founded Topche & Company LLC where he is the managing member. Gary specializes in servicing the financial needs of the closely held business. These services include tax and strategic business planning, merger and acquisition negotiation and deal structure, organizational restructuring and succession planning for family owned businesses.

Gary began his career as a staff accountant at BDO Seidman (formerly Seidman & Seidman). As the Accounting and Auditing Quality Control Partner at Finkle and Company, his responsibilities included implementing a system of quality control for preparation of workpapers and financial statements integrated with a comprehensive training program.

Gary served as the Partner-in-Charge of the Accounting and Auditing Department of Laventhol & Horwath's Northern New Jersey office from 1989 through 1990. His responsibilities included supervising five partners and a principal with a staff of approximately forty. Gary was responsible for the office's quality control program.

In 1990, Gary co-founded Frankel and Topche, P.C. Gary served as the Accounting and Auditing Director of the Firm. Gary also directed the Firm’s litigation support efforts.
