In January 2013, Mark co-founded Topche & Company LLC. Mark specializes in servicing the financial needs of the closely held business and high net worth individuals. These services include a focus on employee benefit plans and the audits thereof, as well as tax and strategic planning, succession planning, audit and attest services, U.S. taxation considerations for international businesses and reporting foreign activities for U.S. taxpayers including the Offshore Voluntary Disclosure Program with the IRS.

Mark began his career as a staff accountant at Finkle & Company in July 1980. Mark was responsible for running large audit engagements along with complex compilations and reviews. In addition, Mark was responsible for complex tax returns for partnerships, corporations, and high net worth individuals.

In January 1992 Mark joined Frankel and Topche, P.C. as Senior Manager. In July 1993 Mark was admitted to the Firm as a Director. Mark's responsibilities included being the designated Director in charge of the Firm's employee benefit plan audit practice, handling a diverse client base and assisting in the Firm's marketing and administrative functions. In addition, Mark taught in-house continuing professional education courses.
